‘Loving on Borrowed Time’ coming out on July 30!

I’m feeling very excited as I have heard from my publishers (Pegasus/Vanguard) that my novel will be out on July 30! (ISBN: 9781843865377). I can’t wait to see it in physical form… and I hope people like it. I’m also positive about a short story that I have written recently and submitted to a short story competition. I had never really thought about writing a short story, but when I heard about the competition, I thought I would have a go. And the story just came to me….I was worried about the ending, and then that materialised too. I’ll say more about this at a later date.
A Phoenix Life is sitting waiting to see how Loving On Borrowed Time does. Then I’ll decide what to do with it. I’ve already got lots of ideas for a fourth novel, but am stopping myself from getting carried away with this until after a short holiday coming up soon. I have to make a conscious effort not to think about it otherwise I won’t be able to think of anything else! And once I start it will monopolise my time for months to come….That’s why I loved writing the short story, as I was feeling deprived…I start feeling restless as soon as I stop writing, even for only a few days… I’ll be taking my ideas notebook with me on holiday anyway, in case the Muse comes calling!
